Where to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in our hood without getting tequila spilled on you:


Pinche Taqueria
A ROGAN store staff favorite, Pinche is quick, cheap and delicious. They have tacos, burritos, and all the usuals but they also have breakfast egg dishes until 4pm, and $3.75 tecates. To extend the Cinco de Mayo celebration into June, the good people at Thrillist have a crazy deal at Pinche here.


Hecho en Dumbo
Their taco meat have that just off the grill taste reminiscent of Mexican street food. Not to mention their Michelada Cubanas, Margaritas and Tequila con Sangrita are spot-on. Also, Mezcal is served here.


Gemma at Bowery Hotel
They have tequila worth sipping on.


Peels
Refreshing Micheladas, Horchata, and daily Agua Fresca accompany American lunch fare with a pinch of Latin flavor.

For those who just want a mean chorizo.


Gonzalez y Gonzalez
This long-time Broadway resident closed down months ago due to an ending lease, but it's reopening for this summer. They're having a party on the west side to celebrate*.


ROGAN
If you stop by and ask for a Michelada, we can probably make that happen.
